Abstract

This study is to demonstrate the safety, tolerability, pharmakokinetic and pharmacodynamic effect of BAY63-2521 in patients with pulmonary hypertension and stable treatment of sildenafil 20 mg.

Conditions: Hypertension, Pulmonary.

Primary outcome: Impact of a single dose of BAY63-2521 on pharmacodynamic parameters of the pulmonary system, on safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics..

Enrollment: 7 participants.

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 7 participants or records.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
