A Ten-Year Trend of Antimicrobial Resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa From United States Medical Centers: Results From the INFORM Surveillance Program (2015-2024)
Abstract
We evaluated 14 304 Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates from 56 US medical centers (2015-2024). Ceftazidime-avibactam, ceftolozane-tazobactam, and imipenem-relebactam were active against 97.0%-97.9% of isolates overall. Piperacillin-tazobactam and ceftazidime activities decreased slightly during the study period, whereas the activities of meropenem, levofloxacin, and tobramycin improved since 2017.
