Assessment of Single-dose Oral Tadalafil Pharmacokinetic Characteristics When Simultaneously Co-administered With Single-dose and Steady-state Tipranavir/Ritonavir 500 mg/200 mg to Healthy Male Volunteers
Abstract
Study to assess the effects of single-dose and steady-state tipranavir/ritonavir 500 mg/200 mg on the single-dose pharmacokinetics of tadalafil 10 mg
Conditions: Healthy.
Primary outcome: Maximum Plasma Concentration (Cmax) for Tadalafil; Plasma Concentration (Cp12h) for Tadalafil; Area Under Plasma Concentration-time Curve (AUC0-72h) for Tadalafil; AUC0-∞ for Tadalafil.
Enrollment: 17 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a clinical trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 17 participants or records.
