Physics input to negative pion therapy
Abstract
The seminars recorded in this document vere initiated for the purpose of establishing an exchange or information, references, views, opinions, and indeed prejudices among various individuals at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory during the summer of 1972 who were interested in the pion radiotherapy program. The basic motive was this: while the program has received extensive publicity, it was perceived that the several contributors to the scientific development of the program had been, to a certain extent, working at cross-purposes.The following document purports to represent the position of the physicists who have been most concerned with the problem.
