Encyclopedia of physics
Abstract
The editors of Encyclopedia of Physics, whose earlier edition a decade ago won international acclaim from the scientific and library community, now provide a fully revised, expanded and updated second edition of this comprehensive reference resource. This new edition draws from a panel of over 500 expert contributors active in the fields they cover to provide in a single volume a wide-embracing state-of-the-art account of physics and the physical world. These distinguished contributors include fourteen Nobel Prize winners and numerous other recipients of scientific awards for expertise in their specialities.
