Evaluation of Intravenous Nitrite Infusion for Reversal of Cerebral Vasospasm After Subarachnoid Hemorrhage From a Cerebral Aneurysm
Abstract
The hypothesis is that intravenous infusion of sodium nitrite is safe and effective for the reversal of cerebral vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage in patients with a cerebral aneurysm.
Conditions: Subarachnoid Hemorrhage.
Primary outcome: Cerebral Vasospasm.
Enrollment: 6 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a clinical trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 6 participants or records.
