A Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Multi-dose Phase 2 Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety and Tolerability of Romosozumab in the Treatment of Japanese Women With Postmenopausal Osteoporosis
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine if treatment with romosozumab increases bone mineral density in Japanese women with postmenopausal osteoporosis.
Conditions: Postmenopausal Osteoporosis (PMO).
Primary outcome: Percent Change From Baseline to 12 Months in Bone Mineral Density at the Lumbar Spine.
Enrollment: 252 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 2 of 5 (High · randomized trial). Randomized trials of a reasonable size are the strongest single-study design. Reported size: 252 participants or records.
