Abstract

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of azithromycin combined with glucocorticoid in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children, in order to provide scientific basis for clinical treatment. Methods A total of 100 children with mycoplasma pneumonia were included in this study and randomly divided into combined treatment group and control group, 50 cases each. The combination treatment group was treated with azithromycin combined with glucocorticoid, and the control group was treated with azithromycin only. The improvement of immunoglobulin level, T cell subsets distribution, myocardial enzyme index and clinical symptoms were compared between the two groups after treatment. Result After treatment, the level of immunoglobulin in the combined treatment group increased significantly, IgG increased from 8.12 ± 1.35 g/L to 13.56 ± 1.78 g/L, IgA increased from 1.18 ± 0.29 g/L to 1.76 ± 0.37 g/L. IgM increased from 0.59 ± 0.12 g/L to 0.98 ± 0.19 g/L. The distribution of T cell subsets was optimized, the proportion of CD3 + cells increased from 54.8 ± 4.9% to 68.1 ± 4.5%, and the CD4+/CD8 + ratio increased from 1.19 ± 0.18 to 1.76 ± 0.23. Myocardial enzyme profile decreased significantly, creatine kinase (CK) decreased from 210 ± 25 U/L to 125 ± 18 U/L, creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) decreased from 32 ± 4 U/L to 16 ± 3 U/L. The clinical symptoms and signs were significantly improved. In contrast, although children in the control group also had a certain…
